Dress Requirements

The following is a list of dress codes for each particular class that we offer.

CR: black or light pink leotard, ballet pink footed tights, pink leather ballet shoes. Optional – ballet skirt (pull-on or attached to leotard)

CR/TAP: black or light pink leotard, ballet pink footed tights, pink leather ballet shoes, black patent-leather tap shoes. Optional – ballet skirt (pull-on or attached to leotard)

BALLET: Black leotard, ballet pink tights, pink ballet shoes, ballet skirt or tight ballet shorts (optional). Students in pre-ballet or ballet (ages 6-9) are also allowed to wear a light pink leotard, if preferred. Hair in a bun.

JAZZ: Any solid color leotard with black jazz pants (leggings, capri-length pants, biker shorts or dance shorts). If wearing dance shorts, you must wear either tan, pink or black tights underneath. Black jazz shoes. Formfitting tanks, in solid colors, are optional, but you must wear a leotard underneath.

TAP: Any solid color leotard with black jazz pants (leggings, capri-length pants, biker shorts or dance shorts). If wearing dance shorts, you must wear either tan, pink or black tights underneath. Black tap shoes. Formfitting tanks, in solid colors, are optional, but you must wear a leotard underneath.

HIP HOP: It is required to wear a solid color leotard with Black pants (nothing too long), black biker/long gym shorts, sweatpants or our jazz dress code. Solid colored tops are optional (t-shirts are allowed only in Hip Hop classes). Any additional recommendations will be given by your teacher.   Hip hop sneakers, clean sneakers with white soles (non marking) or black jazz shoes. 

MODERN/CONTEMPORARY: Any solid color leotard with black pants (leggings, capri-length pants, biker shorts or dance shorts – NO long pants). If wearing dance shorts, you must wear either tan, pink or black tights underneath.  Tights must be footless since there are no shoes worn in these classes. Formfitting tanks, in solid colors, are allowed but you must wear a leotard underneath.

ALL STUDENTS MUST WEAR A LEOTARD TO CLASS, ALL HAIR MUST BE SECURED OFF OF FACE/NECK (BUN FOR BALLET) AND T-SHIRTS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN ANY CLASS

**UNLESS YOU ARE WEARING SHORTS TIGHT TO THE KNEE, YOU MUST WEAR TIGHTS.  NO LONG BAGGY SHORTS.**
