Dress Requirements

The following is a list of dress codes for each particular class that we offer. This is to help you know what is expected.

TIGHTS: Must be dance tights and not stockings.

CR: Black or light pink leotard, ballet pink footed tights, pink leather ballet shoes. Optional – ballet skirt (pull-on or attached to leotard)

CR/Tumbling: Black or light pink leotard, ballet pink transition tights (so they can go barefoot for tumbling), pink leather ballet shoes. Optional – ballet skirt (pull-on or attached to leotard)

CR/TAP: Black or light pink leotard, ballet pink footed tights, pink leather ballet shoes, black tap shoes. Optional – ballet skirt (pull-on or attached to leotard)

BALLET: Black leotard, ballet pink tights, pink ballet shoes, ballet skirt or tight black ballet shorts (optional). Students in pre-ballet or ballet (ages 6-9) are also allowed to wear a light pink leotard, if preferred. HAIR IN A BUN.

JAZZ: Any solid color leotard with black leggings, yoga pants, black biker shorts or tight black dance shorts. If wearing shorts, you must wear either tan, pink or black tights underneath. Black jazz shoes. Formfitting tanks, in solid colors, are optional, but you must wear a leotard underneath.

TAP: Any solid color leotard with black leggings, yoga pants, black biker shorts or tight black dance shorts. If wearing shorts, you must wear either tan, pink or black tights underneath. Black tap shoes. Formfitting tanks, in solid colors, are optional, but you must wear a leotard underneath.

HIP HOP: It is required to wear a solid color leotard with Black leggings, yoga pants or sweatpants ( (nothing too long). Solid colored tops are optional (t-shirts are allowed only in hip hop classes). Black jazz shoes or clean black sneakers with white soles (non-marking).Check with your teacher regarding their preference on shoes before purchasing. 

MODERN/CONTEMPORARY: Any solid color leotard with black leggings, capri-length yoga pants (they should be above the ankle), black biker shorts or tight black dance shorts. If wearing dance shorts, you must wear either tan, pink or black tights underneath.  Tights must be footless since there are no shoes worn in modern class. Formfitting tanks, in solid colors, are allowed but you must wear a leotard underneath.

ALL STUDENTS MUST WEAR A LEOTARD TO CLASS

T-SHIRTS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN ANY CLASS, EXCEPT HIPHOP

ALL HAIR MUST BE SECURED OFF OF FACE AND NECK (BUN FOR BALLET) 

You can purchase all leotards, tights and shoes in our dancewear department in our school.
