Summer Camp Schedule
Performing Arts Camp
At the Babylon School of Dance
Under the direction of Joann Cistone, this program, in the area for over 18 years, focuses on technique and choreography in pointe, ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop and modern from the past to the present exciting world of dance. Our instructors are all educated in dance and are experienced in teaching children. The entire Babylon staff have been involved in the arts for over 26 years.

New themes each week for kids ages
3 - 5 and 6 - 8.
 
Creative rhythm for girls and boys
Emphasis is on natural movement, free expression and learning to participate and have fun in a group. This class teaches balance, coordination, right from left, and following the beat of the music. Students also learn very basic ballet. Ages 3-5.

Ballet and Jazz
Ballet serves as the foundation of all dance. Children learn stretching, basic ballet positions and movement. Jazz is an alternative dance style that is fre-quently used on Broadway and in music videos.

Ballet • Jazz • Modern • Hip Hop
Ballet and jazz are explained above. Modern is a creative and expressive form of dance.  Hip-hop is a stylized type of street jazz to contemporary music.
Ages 9-12 and 13-15.
